Gawan Heintze
Consultant and Board of Directors, Technology and Support Centre and Association for Sustainable Agri-PV - VnAP
I am an experienced consultant with over seven years of expertise in the fields of agrivoltaics and energy crop cultivation, gained at the Technology and Support Centre (TFZ) in Straubing, Bavaria.
Following my biology studies at the Ruhr University Bochum I worked as a research associate from 2011 to 2017, leading several research projects at the Peatland Science Centre of the Weihenstephan-Triesdorf University of Applied Sciences in Freising.
My work focused on measuring greenhouse gas emissions within energy crop cultivation and in peatland ecosystems.
In my capacity as a consultant, I played an active role in developing the preliminary standards DIN SPEC 91434 and DIN SPEC 91492 for agrivoltaics. Since 2025, I have chaired the DIN standardization committee "NA 057-03-08 AA." Further, I have been active as a board member for the Association for Sustainable Agri-PV – VnAP since April 2026.
Throughout my career as an consultant in agrivoltaics, I have built an extensive network and gained profound experience in both project planning and committee work.
