This session will explore the evolving policy and regulatory landscape for agrivoltaics across Europe, focusing on how frameworks can enable the dual use of land for agriculture and renewable energy generation. Several country tables will run in parallel, each featuring a short talk and discussion on national developments in agrivoltaic. Participants are free to rotate between tables according to their interests. Through national perspectives and rotating talks, participants will compare emerging frameworks and practical implementation models. The objective is to highlight best practices from selected Member States, identify key remaining challenges, and examine the role of incentives and regulation in scaling agrivoltaic in Europe.

This session will examine the financial foundations of agrivoltaics and the business models that can support long-term market growth. It will look at how projects can become economically viable in different national contexts, taking into account varying levels of policy support, market conditions and revenue structures.
The discussion will cover perspectives from project developers, investors and financial institutions, as well as the question of how agrivoltaics can create a convincing business case for agriculture. By bringing together practical project experience and financing perspectives, the session aims to highlight what is needed to move agrivoltaics from promising concept to bankable and scalable business model.

This session will focus on practical technology development in agrivoltaics and how technical solutions perform in real-life applications. It will explore approaches to simulation, operational and crop management, automation and robotics, as well as storage concepts for electricity, water, cooling and heat.
The discussion will also address large-scale system solutions and the role of technology in improving the operation and integration of agrivoltaic projects. By bringing together practical and technical perspectives, the session aims to highlight how these solutions can support more efficient, reliable and scalable agrivoltaic systems.

This session brings together additional perspectives on two key areas of agrivoltaics: practical technology development and business and financing approaches. Building on the earlier discussions, it will offer further insights into selected topics that are particularly relevant for the implementation and scaling of agrivoltaic projects.
Depending on the final program structure, the session may address aspects such as operational and system-related solutions, as well as market, investment and business model perspectives. The aim is to create space for more focused exchange on issues that are essential to moving agrivoltaics from concept to practice.
